Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Water Reminder - Daily Track mobile application (the “Application”) provided by Kadri Gülbeyaz (the “Service Provider”). The Application is offered as a free service with optional paid Premium subscriptions, and is provided “as is”.

Who we are

The Application helps you track daily water intake, set a personal hydration goal, receive reminders, and optionally subscribe to Premium (no ads, extra mascots, streak shield).

You do not create an email or password account. When you open the Application, an anonymous technical identifier is created so your data can sync. Registration with the Service Provider is not required.

The Service Provider does not send marketing emails. We do not have your email address unless you write to us.

Information you provide

If you enter it, we process:

• Optional display name
• Weight, height, age, gender, and activity level (to estimate a daily water goal)
• Your daily water intake and related history
• Notification and reminder preferences (including reminder times)
• App language

This information is used only to operate the Application: calculate your goal, show progress, send reminders you asked for, and keep your profile consistent across sessions.

Information stored on our servers

Profile and water-intake records are stored on Supabase (a cloud database), tied to your anonymous identifier — not only on your device.

While you use the Application, water-log rows older than about 30 days may be removed during normal sync. Your profile is kept while the account remains in use, until you ask us to delete it.

Information stored on your device

Some data stays on the device (or is cached there for offline use), including:

• Streak and streak-shield state
• Mascot / costume unlocks
• Local language preference and similar settings
• Temporary offline copies of your profile and today’s intake

Uninstalling the Application deletes this on-device data. It does not automatically delete the server copy linked to your anonymous identifier.

Information created automatically

To run the app we (or our processors) may process:

• An anonymous user identifier (Supabase)
• An anonymous purchases identifier (RevenueCat)
• Device and OS information needed by the stores, ads, or notifications
• Advertising identifiers, if ads are shown (AdMob)
• IP address as seen by our cloud or ad providers when the app goes online (we do not collect it in the Application’s own screens)

We do not collect precise, real-time location. The Application is not a web browser and does not use cookies.

A brief network check may contact a public connectivity endpoint so the app can tell online from offline.

Do we use Artificial Intelligence (AI)?

No. The Application does not use AI to process your data or to provide features.

Premium subscriptions and payments

If you subscribe, payment is handled by Apple or Google Play, and subscription status is managed with RevenueCat. The Service Provider does not receive your full card number. Store and RevenueCat privacy policies apply to that payment data.

Advertising

If you are not on Premium, the Application shows ads from Google AdMob (banners, native ads, occasional full-screen ads, and optional rewarded videos for mascots or streak protection). AdMob may use advertising identifiers and similar data as described in Google’s policies. Premium removes these ads.

Third-party services

We use processors to host data, show ads, and handle subscriptions. They have their own privacy policies:

• Supabase
• Google AdMob
• RevenueCat
• Apple Privacy Policy
• Google Privacy Policy

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or to service providers who process data only on our instructions.

We do not sell your profile or water-intake records.

Children

The Application is rated for a general audience on the stores (including 4+). Families may use it. Age, weight, and similar fields are only for estimating a hydration goal; they are not an age check.

If you are a parent or guardian and want data removed, email gulbeyazkadri6@gmail.com. We will delete the related server data we can identify.

How to request deletion

To delete personal data linked to your use of the Application:

1. Email gulbeyazkadri6@gmail.com
2. Use the subject line Data Deletion Request
3. Name the app (Water Reminder)
4. If you can, include the approximate date you installed the app and the device type (iOS or Android)

We will process the request within 30 days.

We will then delete from our servers, where we can identify the account:

• Profile information (name, weight, height, age, gender, activity level, language, reminder settings)
• Daily water-intake records
• The anonymous account identifier we control

We cannot delete:

• Data that exists only on a device you already wiped or uninstalled (streak, local mascot unlocks)
• Payment and subscription records held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat (ask those providers or manage the subscription in your store account)
• Information we must keep for a legal obligation
• Aggregated data that cannot reasonably identify you

Opt-out and your choices

• Uninstalling stops new collection on that device; it does not replace a deletion request for server data.
• You can turn off notifications in the Application or in system settings.
• You can subscribe to Premium to stop ads in the Application.
• You can limit ad tracking in iOS or Android system settings.

Security

We use access controls and our processors’ security features (including encrypted connections). No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version on this page. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
